Today there is a great push to get people to stop smoking not only because it will help them to live longer but also because of the huge cost that smokers have on the medical establishment.
Another reason for this pus is that over the past several yeas have shown that not only smokers, but non-smokers are also affected by the chemicals that are in the smoke when one burns tobacco

IN order to quit smoking.. first the smoker needs to make up his mind that he really needs to stop it. First .. reduce the smoking and then eliminate it. Once eliminated.. do not start again. Stay away from friends who smoke. Get family to support your decision. Spend quality time in other areas and one should reach their goal of quitting smoking.
